Recieved a vip gift movie code

Recieved Vip gift movie code , but no option to put it in when select the movie so now been charged for it , how do you use the code ?

Hi @blade1 

 

To use a code you have to do your transaction online. That's fine if it's a buy and keep as you can send it from your online account to your Sky box.

If it's a rental then you are much more limited in how you view it on your TV. You need for example an LG TV with built in Skystore- or a Chromecast / Roku device. Even then not all premiere rentals will work through a casting type device.

That's exactly what I did , got to the pay section but nowhere to add a code .

You have to redeem the code first, then when you get to the basket page online it should show that the credit is being used to pay for the title you have selected, you don't then try to add the same code on this page.

But there's nowhere to redeem the code , only spot to put a code in says to do it on payment summary .

You have to apply it first via this link:

Then you will see this:

That credit will be used to pay or part pay for your film.

That's what I'm saying , on that page when I put the code in it says to add the code in the payment summary not there.
