Re: Where has Disney film channel gone?

I had previously bought Disney's many movies via my Sky account ie Frozen... I can no longer watch these?!

Surely that can't be the case for movies have already bought and kept?

Re: Where has Disney film channel gone?

Finally got through. They said it's a cliche in the software, that they will fix.

So even though you can't click / watch when searching for the movie you have bought, you can view and watch when you click on purchases.., something another poster mention earlier 👍🏻

thanks everyone for your help

Buy and keep is like buying a DVD from a store, you own it and it stays in your Sky library for you to watch, disney+ does not affect your purchases

Re: Where has Disney film channel gone?

That's what I thought, however when I click on Frozen, it's says I must sign in to Disney plus, however I don't have a Disney plus account or have that as part of my package?

so unable to watch?

Are you trying to playback the version that you have to download to your planner from your library or just the version that is in the search, as a search might find the Disney+ version of Frozen that you do not own

If you bought them, go to recordings on sky q, then go to the third last option "purchases" and you should find your previous purchases there where you can redownload any films you had bought

Hi @AAAAAAAAAAaaaaa99

I'm aware that one of the terms of Skystore is that they don't guarantee that you will always have access to the movies - for example if Sky lose the rights to host the movie (pasted below)

If your access has disappeared then I wonder if Disney have taken back all hosting rights

I don't have any Disney films on my "purchased" items to check - but this seems possible to me when you read the terms

To clarify - Skystore live chat should be open now

https://www.skystore.com/n/hcus/help/contact-us

"The ability to stream and/or download Buy & Keep Content may not be offered to you indefinitely. For example, we will be unable to continue to offer you particular Buy & Keep Content if we no longer have the rights to do so from the relevant rightsholder(s). If we no longer offer particular Buy & Keep Content we will use reasonable efforts to make this information available to you via email, the Website and/or Sky Store app. Please have this in mind when deciding to delete Content from your Device(s) and/or Box, or archive Buy & Keep Content on your Box."

This is what I was afraid of... thanks for the link, however been "connecting" for ages now and no luck... I'll keep trying and will keep the thread updated with the answer.

I'm glad to hear it seems like Sky have retained the agreement to host existing Disney purchases @AAAAAAAAAAaaaaa99
