How do I get my free movie?

I am new to Sky. Received an offer of a free movie. I chose one which was £0.00 and waited 4 days as I read somewhere to do but now there is no mention of it anywhere. I have not received an email with a code. I have checked in the Sky Store VIP section, on MYSky App in the VIP section but zilch. Very frustrating and very time-consuming!

Did you go ahead and "purchase" you free £0.00 film, if so it should have downloaded to your Sky Q box in the recordings > purchases section.

It should also be here in your library section of your online Sky Store account:

Can you see these movies ? If you see them priced at £0 - choose one and send it to your Sky box (you should see an option to do that after purchase for £0)

edit : the 4 day thing is usually the time after registering for VIP before the offer shows as available 

You don't get a code sent to you  - the Sky system knows you and allows you to choose one free movie. If these movies in my link now show as £0 I think it hasn't yet registered your earlier  choice 

If they don't show as £0 now - it has probably registered your choice and it's just a question of locating it. Try a voice search - just don't pay for it again by accident

I looked in recordings and purchases and it said 'you have no purchases'. What a lot of hassle just to watch a free movie. 😏

I've just tried to purchase it again at £0.00 and a message appeared at the top saying my account was not eligible for purchases. Can't say exact wording as it disappeared very quickly.

I think @caesarome suggestion to livechat with the Skystore team is the way to go here then 

They are open tonight for another 45 mins - or open again tomorrow at 11am

Perhaps this is why the film has not turned up on your Sky box, this is something the Sky Store chat team should be able to help you with when the chat open again tomorrow at 11am if you didn't manage to contact them this evening.

Ok. Thanks everyone for your help. I did a web chat as suggested and she sent some codes or something to my Sky box and now it is allowing me to purchase (even though free!). Got there in the end. Thanks again. 😃
