Does anyone know if it is possible to keep copies of digitally downloaded film purchases once I have cancelled sky Q. Thanks in advance

They are stored on your online Sky Store account.
When you leave Sky you can access them via the Sky Store app on some LG smart TVs or by watching on the Sky Store website, Android or iOS apps. If you have a Roku streaming device there is a Sky Store channel you can view content on too.
It's one of the unfortunate things about building up a library of purchased movies from Sky - you are tied to them in many respects and can't easily watch them on a TV if yours does not support the app or you don't own a Roku device.
IMHO you are better off purchasing movies from Prime Video or iTunes which have a much larger range of content which can be viewed on many other devices, usually at a lower cost and in better quality. The Prime Video app is available on multiple platforms, devices and most smart TVs for example.

hi @richie43
I am not too sure about download them as such.
you can still access them through SKY Store on various other devices - although I think you may need to set up an ID on there if you haven't already done so

There's no downloaded DRM-free file available: although streaming access continues it's only in the formats that Sky permits (some of which are limited resolution).
The more effective way to 'Buy and Keep' is to opt for the DVD.

They will be available on the app and once you have left Sky you need to get in touch with Sky Store support and ask them to change your account to a Sky Store only one that way you can keep access to them and can make future purchases if you want.
When you are ready to do this they have a live chat you can use that is available from 11am-7.30pm Monday to Saturday and can be found here:

You should still have access to this forum as all you need is a Sky ID to login to here as it doesn't matter if you are a customer or not.

Don't wait until you have cancelled Sky to access content on Skystore your should be able to access content already if you have set up your Skystore account correctly.
You can download content to Apple and Android devices to watch offline.

Hi there,
I just wondered if you did have all your films in Sky Store after 2nd August, and what you had to do to keep them?
Thanks
