Had the regular monthly email from sky with new offers, content etc and in this email it says as a vip customer i am able to claim a free movie from sky from the sky store.
There is a claim now button to click which takes me to the sky store but there is no way/nothing showing to be able to claim it.
On the sky store page under the sky vip section all movies are still paid,it also says on the page i can go to the sky vip section on the sky q box and select a movie from there but when i do that,i go to the sky vip section,i can see where it says a movie on us and i click that and it tells me to go to the mysky app and i can redeem it from there.
When i go to the mysky app however, there is nowhere in any of the sections that mentions about claiming a free movie.
This is some crazy wild goose chase that has ended up with a complete blank, can anyone help?
Thanks in advance

Just been in touch with sky and was told that it is a one time offer so because i claimed a movie in the past as a vip customer,im not allowed to claim another one from this new offer
Pretty poor sending this email in the first place if that is the case.
Oh well after wasting this morning going from pillar to post for no reason whatsoever at least i got to the bottom of it. 😠

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out more@mc321Usually there is a code to enter shown in the email if you click on redeem voucher in the VIP section of the Sky store you enter the code there.
I can't remember the code but it is not unique and not very hidden it was something like "free" but I don't think that was the actual code.

Hi @bob1234 there is no code in the email, just a claim now button which is basically a link to the sky store
Hi @MightyQuinn i dont find the answer on that part of the forum either,as mentioned in my first post i have gone through all of the instructions to try and claim a movie but there arent any that show for free, they are all paid (ps sorry i posted this in the sky q section but it was because i was trying to claim it thriught the sky q box as per instructions after trying on the sky store webpage and the mysky app)

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out moreWhen logging into the Sky Store website here if these films appear as £0.00 then you can go ahead and "purchase" one:
https://www.skystore.com/n/mvse/all-offers/sky-vip-welcome-gift
You can also go to the Sky Store on your Sky box and choose a movie from the Sky VIP section but again as they must show as £0.00.

Hi @caesarome thanks for the reply but again,as already mentioned, none of them show as free, they are all paid
I will contact sky and hopefully they can shed some light on it
P.s can you clarify where the sky vip section is in the sky store on the sky box?
All i see in the sky store section are headings such as new to buy,to rent, genres etc etc I dont see anyway that says sky vip within the sky store
The only vip section i see is in the "mysky" section on the box and the only thing in there about a free movie is as i mentioned earlier telling me to go to the mysky app which i have done but there is nothing in there to claim anything
Thanks

As for the VIP section, it looks like it isn't available on the box anymore.

Shame Sky don't have the same attitude when it comes to bill increases, how about due to your bill rising in the past you you are price guaranteed in the future 😉
Pathetic, it costs them nothing to throw in a film now and again!
