Re: Free gift move

It's typical Sky unfortunately. Everything has to be on their terms. Would it really hurt them to offer a free choice? I don't think it would

I'm only guessing  here @Matt+Webb but my guess is that it's massively cheaper for Sky to give away a few million copies of older movies than (say) a few million copies of Bridget Jones / Captain America - for which they would presumably have to pay a lot more to the studios

If you are a qualifying customer @Matt+Webb

Google the list of free movies, then go to Skystore online and providing it shows as £0 - select it

I wish to access my free sky store buy and keep movie

I got an email from you on 21st May 2025 saying I could get a Sky Store movie for free due to the technical issues you had the previous week. I cannot access that free movie.

Hi @Edward3345

There are hundreds of posts on this in the Sky Q forum but to save you looking, go to your SkyQ tv menu and select Skystore then either "top picks" or "featured" and look for this tile. It will be somewhere within the selection of tiles even if you have to look around.

as an alternative, providing you are a Sky Q customer, Google for a list of the included movies and then go to Skystore online and provided that movie shows as £0 when you are signed in, select it.

for example

Re: Free gift move

It feels like the free movie offer has done sky more harm than good.

i wasnt expecting anything but when I got the free movie offer I took a look at the options and felt ripped off even though it was free, ha.

Most of the movies have been on sky cinema and at least one of them I recorded off there recently and havent watched yet.

Free gift movie

The free movie for disrupted service is a joke. Choose from a short list of movies that are already on Sky Cinema 🤷‍♂️

if you want to say sorry then just do that, don't make like you're giving us something when you're not. There's no actual cost to you to make an actual Sky Store movie available. There's no term Customer Service means nothing!
