Hello,
I am trying to redeem my Sky Gift from Sky Store, but everytime I try to login I receive an error message. The message just says that there was an unexpected error and nothing else happens.
I have tried logging in in multiple devices - Sky app, computer browser, mobile browser - and everytime I get the same error. I really would like to redeem my free movie but I am losing hope. Can anyone assist?

If the above doesn't work then give this a try:
Make sure your title (Mr, Mrs etc..) and surname is filled in here:
https://www.sky.com/mydetails/sky-id
If someone has helped you then please click on the LIKES button in their post.

Hi BeatrizGargaro
I noticed your thread. I had this issue last year.
What resolved the error for me was signing into https://www.sky.com/ first, then in a new tab I went to https://www.skystore.com/
clicked sign in, the page refreshed and I signed in to sky store and I were already signed in to sky.com.

Well done for helping others.
Hope you don't mind me mentioning - if you are posting and assisting other members- and you want to tag them in the post (so they are alerted to your suggestion). - if you type in the
@ symbol
then a list of people involved in the thread pops up. If you select the person you want to tag it then appears in blue so you know it works.
they will then (depending on their preferences) get an email telling them they have a reply.
Hope that's useful for you to know

Hi there @Aquadelta @mike+simmonds thanks for your help!
Unfortunately the fix you suggested did not work 😕 when I go to the sky store I do not show up as signed in.
Any other ideas?

Thanks mike. I had thought about adding the @ symbol in front yesterday but wasn't certain if that would work on the forum.

Beatriz, no worries. I will try to add more clarification.
If you sign in to sky.com open a new tab then just go to skystore.com this won't sign you in automatically.
Only works if you click the sign in on the sky store website while signed in to sky.com.
So it's:
Step 1. Go to sky.com
Step 2. Sign in and keep signed in.
Step 3. Open new tab.
Step 4. Go to skystore.com
Step 5. click sign in on the skystore.com website.
Step 6. The page will refresh and sign you in as you are already signed in to sky.com on the other tab prior.
I'm sorry if this fix doesn't work for you, works for me. All the best.

My last name was not filled, so that was probably the error whenever signing in. I have been able to redeem my free movie now! Many thanks 😄
