using select button and arrows sky q

when using select button and arrows to scroll channels the up button goes down channels and the down button up channels surely this is wrong way around

There is a tiny minority that find the cursor movement the wrong way around. You are not alone. 

As the channels are listed in ascending order, say 1 at the top, and 10 at the bottom. Say you are on 5 then 4 is up from 5 and 6 is down from 5.

if thats the case why does the channel up button go up channels and down button down

Hi @boiler64 

The logic in the select button and arrows being the way round is that it mimics the direction taken when viewing the TV Guide.

In the TV Guide you use the up arrow to go up the guide to the lower channels and vice versa.

The Up/Down channels buttons follow standard Channel selection convention.

Hi @boiler64   You should note that Channel Up and Down moves the TV Guide up and down a page. Moving around the TV Guide is completely different to changing channels.
