Legit in what way? thats the whole problem on the very subject of the thread. I upgraded and am a paid up customer for 15 or more years and they cant stop these messages coming up on the screen. Not legit for a paid customer to be getting these messages after an upgrade.

We have the exact same message showing up and I've also contacted them 3 times ! A lady on the phone today they have never heard of this before and it's the first of its kind! Clearly it's not when others are having the same issue !

We first started getting the message in the middle of the screen in August when using the old Sky+ box.
After the upgrade to Sky Q the messages continued.
I don't know what bright spark developed this feature, putting messages on screen to a paid up customer, and now they can't remove them.

To me it would suggest that your account hasn't completely changed over on Sky's systems.

RESOLVED
Ok so this is finally resolved today after 12 or so weeks of Messages appearing on screen every 30 minutes. For those who have a similar issue this is what happened to resolve it:
In summary, if you have any services pending cancel on your bill within a current billing period, you need to wait for this period to expire, then repair the card after the service is gone off your currnet bill.
Hope this makes sense, good luck all.
