upgrade to Sky Q

my self and my mum have talked about upgrading to Sky Q from Sky + HD, as we are finding the seperate costs of our Broadband (BT) and TV Package (SKY) are getting expensive, I saw a deal on the Sky Website which we were interested in but was not able to continue with the order, we were looking to have our Broadband and continued TV pack with Sky which would reduce costs, if we upgraded, I would like the 2TB Sky Q box as my mum likes to record and download programmes, and maybe mutiroom too.

@jasl49

Give Sky a call to usually receive the best offers to upgrade. The offer you saw may have been for new customers to Sky which you aren't. The current default Sky Q box is the 1TB.

Hi @jasl49

You may wish to read some notes I have made for people considering switching from SKY +/HD to SKY Q

Note that in Q it's 'Multiscreen' and  unlike with Sky+ there's no separation of stored content (and hence no privacy)

This can be an issue in some domestic circumstances.
