the sky button wont switch tv on

my sky mini box has lost the ability to  turn the tv on its a panasonic tv

Check the CEC settings as the mini sends an 'on' signal via this.  Check both the mini and TV to ensure HDMI settings are correct.

I am just another Sky customer and my views are my own even if you don't like the answers

@doubleEither post the exact model, some are different, or look in the manual.

CEC is also known as "HDMI control"

Panasonics support CEC. They just all use different names for it, annoyingly.

 

 

do you want it to come on when you swtich the mini on (quick press) or when you hold fhe power button down for a few seconds?
