skyq multiscreen causing WiFi issue.
I'm getting some sort of interference from the main SkyQ box ever since the multiscreen has been installed, it works as normal then every few minutes I'll have really high ping spikes with packet loss, as soon as the main sky box is turned off the issue is resolved. Is there a way to use the multiscreen without having to use WiFi? I tried using cable but it still seems to use a wireless connection from the mini to the main to connect in some way.

Re: skyq multiscreen causing WiFi issue.
You can turn wifi off in the engineers menu.
Hover on settings, hit 0 0 1 and then select.

Hi @tiddsa9
When a mini is connected by Ethernet you can then switch off all mini box WiFi.
First carry out a Network reset on the mini with the Ethernet connected.
Network Reset found in mini box Home - Settings - Setup - Network.
Highlight Status and then select Reset on the right hand side. Do not carry out any WPS and just wait for the box to connect. It may take a couple of minutes. If it does not connect there is an issue with the Ethernet connection.
As soon as it connects immediately go into the mini box hidden menu and turn off both bands of WiFi.
To enter hidden menu press Home and navigate down to Settings but do not select Settings.
With Settings highlighted press 0 0 1 Select.
Go to Network to turn off both bands of WiFi. Confirm before exit.

Re: skyq multiscreen causing WiFi issue.
Hello really sorry I forgot to reply back to my post.
Not long after I had put this on I had another look, for some reason it was still connecting to the WiFi when it was connected to ethernet so I reset the mini and then turned off the WiFi on both the mini and the main q box and my issue with ping spikes and packet loss has been resolved.
Thank you.
