sky q without phone line

i love the fact that now i dont need to pay for a pointless phone line, now that i have sky q product so quick however the multi room box is a lot slower.

Ok, what does 'slower' mean?  What parts are 'slow'?

(Remember the mini is not connected to the satellite signal and depends on the main Q box to provide it in a completely different way)

OP hasn't clarified...  Perhaps they mean out of sync?  (They are not guaranteed to be broadcast sychronously)

its when your using the sky it feels so laggy and not as fast paced as the sky q box, downstairs

You mean when you're navigating the menus etc? Yeah it is slower. Much slower/lower power hardware plus some dependency on traffic from the main box.
