Hello
i need some help i have my dining room sky q mini connected to a tp link switch
also my pc,
i am occasionally getting picture dropouts every now and then?
i have tried wi fi to the mini but is far worse,
i am doing something wrong?
any help offered will be appreciated

Hi @steveblue8 Unfortunately there is nothing wrong. If both Main box and Mini box (via unmanaged switch) are connected to the Router using Ethernet then that is right. So try swapping Ethernet cables and eliminate a problem with the switch.

Hi @steveblue8 Is your Main Sky Q box also connected by Ethernet on the same LAN.

Sorry my main q box is connected by ethernet to the sky hub
then i had one ethernet connected from the sky hub to my pc
the mini box in the same room was wireless and keptb dropping connection
so i bought a tp switch the main q box is not on the same ethernet cable
its seperate
i hope that makes sense ?

So the Q box connects via ethernet to the router and the router connects to the switch which then feeds the mini box and your PC?
Have you disabled wifi on the main box and the mini? Is the switch managed or unmanaged?

yes that is correct i have wi fi off on both boxes the switch is unmanaged
