sky q box issues

Hi i seem to be one of many that has pixelating/picture distorting  while using apps built into sky q box

the same apps work fine on tv inbuilt apps so this as another user posted  this has got to be a sky tech issue  on phone earlier today got cut off yesterday when through all the reboots prior to call refreshed apps on box.

The customer handler did try to help thought issue had rectified itself but sadly it came back later

did read a post from a sky employee that they are aware of the issue & are working on it that was posted on the 4th Sept.

Is there anyone who had same issue found a cure.

I feel i will need to ask for a reduction in my charges as this seems sky cannot solve the issue

Thanks

I suspect they'll politely decline that request.  Especially as you have access via your native TV apps.

Always use a native app if you can - they won't suffer the enforced framerate of the Sky ones.

I am just another Sky customer and my views are my own even if you don't like the answers

I replacement box has fixed it for me and some others but hasn't worked for everyone. I would like to do a survey on hardware version and pixelation but there not allowed on these forums 😞.

There does seem to be some correlation with main boxes that have an external PSU (as is my replacement) not suffering with this issue; I havn't seen a post that contradicts this yet....
