definitions required

what does sky signature actually mean ?  does one pay extra to watch sky HD?

@tony235 Sky Signature also includes Box Sets in SD, the HD add-on then upgraded these to HD.

Sky Signature is the current baseline Sky television subscription channel bundle.

 

HD reception is extra, apart from the free-to-air HD channels.

hi @tony235 

 

SKY Signature is the minimum 'base' package you need to watch SKY Q - it enables the box to work and includes the main entertainment channels.

 

Although with Signature you can watch some Free to Air (FTA) channels such as the BBC in HD for the majority of other channels inlcuded you do need the HD add on
