cancelled sky

i have canceled sky today after 25 yrs i had sky city fibre installed 2 days ago but the password on the back of the router is not correct when putting it into my desktop computer, i have phoned sky up a number of times today but no one could help me to solve my problem, so i have had no option but to change to bt. what can you do.

You can always perform a factory reset of the router which will reset to the details on the router - but too late now I guess.

i am still with sky i have got the password at the back of my hub what's the point of doing any reset  none of the people at sky said to reset

Now I'm confused! You say that you've cancelled Sky and gone over to BT.... for Internet or TV??

  • bt for everything because the sky city fibre hub password will not connect to my computer says can't connect to this network

Hi @flannery   A factory reset will reset the password to the password written on the hub. Knowing Sky, the hub may have been used, and the previous person changed the password.

i never thought of that, I might reset it tomorrow but is it safe to reset on a supposing new hub.

i am now staying with sky, none of the sky advisors said to reset my hub. I still can't log in to the admin page with password. I am on the internet just leave it like that I guess.
