Stack? Do you mean stuck?

Have you done a settings reset as a fairly safe, doesn't delete anything, first attempt at a fix?

Method described by @oldfella here;

@StanNedev if @Chodley suggestion doesn't work

you could try refreshing the apps in the engineers menu

To enter the engineers menu do the follow
press the home button then scroll down to setting and hi-light
do not press select/enter but press 001 then select this takes you into the engineers menu

scroll down to apps > refresh

Re: Youtube app

My YouTube app on sky q is also acting up. Unfortunately, Sky Ireland don't seem bothered in getting back to me about my issues, despite contacting them numerous times through various platforms. If the latest fix I've tried doesn't work then it's a letter of intent (cancellation) to their Dublin 4 offices and cancellation of my direct debit. I'll keep you posted how I get on. Cheers

Re: Youtube app

I am getting the same.

The app is fine on phone or smart tv in the same room.

Tried resetting the mini etc but no improvement.

Hi @DuncanBarr Try rebooting your router by removing the power cable for 30 sec then reconnect to reboot, then reboot your main SKYQ box by turning the power off at the socket for 30 sec then turn back on, do the same with any Mini boxes?

Re: Youtube app

I've tried all that already to no avail.

Seems to be an issue within the app on the mini as  via the main box its fine and other streaming apps such as Netflix and Prime Video work fine on the mini, but You Tube when opening the stats for nerds screen shows its getting very little bandwidth (sub 200kb/s).

Somethings up with the minis as had an issue last week where it was connected to the router but said there was no internet in the settings (every other device in the house was fine), a reset like you described fixed it but this issue kept coming back then cleared on Sunday with just You Tube being the issue.
