So.... I was on the live chat from 9.30-ish untill gone twelve.
Turns out that everything I had on the old box, which included the old Entertainment Pack I have lost when upgraded to SkyQ.
My previous pack included on demand, on the Skyq I lost the ability to have it, as SkyQ is differnt in the way that it handles things.
So if I want demand back, I have to subscribe to Signiture.
Couldn't figure out why I was getting blank download format pages every now and again on different episodes.
It could be series 1, episode 1 would be blank, but the rest of the episodes were fine.
The rest of the series were fine.
Go back to watching normal tv for a while, come back to the downloads section again.
Series 1, episode 1 was now ok.
Series 4 episode 1 might have gone blank.
Rather than doing a voice search, do a normal search, series 1 was ok, series 4 episode 1 was fine again.
Episode 2 format page had gone blank in series 3.
I have even come out, turned the tv off, had the box in stand by, turned it back on, did a voice search, and the whole of series 4 just doesn't show up at all.
Exit, back to normal BBC1 tv, watch that for a bit.
Do a manual search for the various series...surprise surprise 4 is showing again....and repeat...
Remember right at the start, I had series 1, 2,3 and 4 downloaded but not 5 each time, then I couldn't download something like 2 or 3.
I downloaded about an hour ago series 1 and 4, couldn't get 2 and 3....still not five
I thought sod it, I have nothing to lose, I'm just going to do a reboot.
Guess what, I downloaded series 3, still no 4 or 5.
I'm not supposed to be able to get anything on demand, but sometimes I can, sometimes not....of the same program
I give up now.

The bloke on live chat couldn't have been nicer and was very helpful in explaining it all, even if I did keep sending around in circles.
For the format pages that keep disappearing when ever it takes their fancy, I think it's a bug, for the complete series 4 disappear, a bug.
Having been with Sky for 24 years for tv and broadband, and broadband has been rock solid apart from just a handful of times, which were sorted out really quickly, I might start looking at other providers now.
All we had was a letter through the post saying that tech support had stopped support for our box, but we could have Skyq for free.
Nothing about migration and we would lose what we had on our old pack, just a letter, and a gentleman turn up with said box, dish, LNB install and that was it.
Not best pleased to say the least.
I have PTSD.... this whole Sky thing has done me wonders...not
Anyway chaps, thank's very much for all your help and advice in all of this, and taking the time to reply to it all.
I shall no doubt be back with other things until we decide what we are doing.

One thing I have learned fro all of this, my grammer, punctuation and proofreading could do better. 😅
