I want to find out from if my old sky box was reset before sky installed my new box. They gave me the box and don't really know what to do with as I don't know if it has any of my personal info on it.
I want to avoid having to unplug my current setup and plug it in as it is all behind furniture. I wanted to actually talk to someone in support about my specific install but it isn't easy to get to a person, all routes seem to push you to the community.

Hi @KerryT1 .
There is no personal information on the boxes apart from the listing of your Recordings.
If your box was replaced because of hard drive failure then nothing would be available anyway

Reading your OP again it looks your Old box was a Sky+ HD if they left it with you.
If it was a Qbox they would have taken it away. Regardless there is no significant personal info on the old boxes which would be of concern.
