Wired recording issues on a specific channel

Hi, I've decided to watch nightrider again on "Legend" and I'm getting weird recording issues it's only on the channel (for me anyway) and it has happened many times in the past and always channel specific. 

Today's issue is at the 2nd set of adverts I go to press ff/skip and it just won't do it, it freezes, starts skipping weirdly and freezing the box totally, if I let the program play the adds they are fine and the show continues as normal, sometimes I have to wait for 1 or 2 adds then it works fine to ff also. 

I've had this happen 10s if not 100s of times when I've recorded from this channel not just nightrider but others also, I don't think it's a box issue and I think it's channel specific something to do with them not using the correct time codings/stamp or some other information the box needs to ff.

Has anyone else had this issue?

Did you ever get a fix for this one please? 
I've recoded several films on Legend Xtra and am getting exactly the same sort of issues. Hanging after trying to FF or Pause. Sky box seems to hang. Remote will not do anything. Only way out is to switch off the Sky box on the wall and reboot the whole system.
Thanks for any suggestions.

Same. Legend is a nightmare. Pausing live TV it's normally the adverts that screw is up.  That leads to having to unplug the box and lose recordings. Poor show, Sky.

I've noticed a lot of glitches with ad breaks recently on channels that use Sky AdSmart, Legend is one of them. Often there are problems when trying to fast forward through ads, or the screen ikeeps going blank after a break.
