WiFi extended with virgin broadband

Hi there I have sky Q with a mini box which has always extended my sky broadband. I've just switched to virgin broadband and mini box is happily connected to it but my phone isn't seeing it to connect wifi. Does sky mini not extend 3rd party wifi signal or do I need to do something in settings? Thanks

hi @Tommyt80 

There is a setting (only) on the main box that turns on Hotspots (on all boxes) for your wifi

Home - Settings - Setup - Network - Advanced settings

We have reports that it can  be a bit hit & miss as to the effectiveness
