Why is Sky glitching so bad today?

Our tv has been glitching really bad today. It's cold outside, sure, but surely a bit of frost wouldn't cause this level of disruption?!

If that's on live television reception then it's typically going to be an individual dish alignment issue.

Re: Why is Sky glitching so bad today?

Same here, started this morning with 501 Sky News - default channel I have on most days.  I've rebooted box (and mini box a number of times), and have looked at sig strength (90-80) & quality jumps from 80/70 down to 0 then back up again.   Currently carrying out a software update in the hope that helps. As I've lost / no sat sig error message on a number of channels following my last plugging/rebooting.     Oh and to add to that my broadband has been awful the last few days!  All not with the £100 a month!

Dish direction doesn't really depend on monthly subscription.  You'll need to log the issue and wait for installer availablity to get it realigned.

It's a communal dish, on a high rise!  So would imagine if it's to do with positioning- then have been a number of calls raised/folks in the same boat!    Though oddly this morning, I've been able to get the channels I was unable to access yesterday! 🤔     So either all my tinkering worked or Sky flicked a switch back on.

Not going to be the latter or we'd all have had an issue

I am just another Sky customer!

The same signal falls in the entire country, so in the absence of the forum exploding, that's not possible.

Ah yes the magical switch Sky use to annoy paying customers, so good they can target an individual subscriber!

I think Musk does have a switch like that
