Why does my sky q destroy my Internet

When I switch the sky q box on at the wall it makes the PlayStation leggy 

And when it's off at the wall the PlayStation is great ?

This as only started once sky q was installed

Who is your broadband provider if it is Sky then Q boxes work as hot spots, if you are connecting your Play station by WiFi it may be picking up the hot spot rather than from the router which can be slower.

What is your broadband speed if slow it may slow down with two  devices or more.
