Why does my Q disconnect from tv

Last two nights watching tele and screen goes blank.

Q box has green light.

turn off Q box at mains and then power up it reconnects.

Q box is quiet hot to touch.

any idea's guys

When it goes blank, does the remote stop working to put it into standby?

Yes sky remote doesn't work, have to power off then on again to get to work

Sounds like a box replacement might be needed but you could try a reset first. I'll escalate your post and you should get a blue chat bubble tomorrow
