Why does SkyQ keep dropping and coming back after a couple of seconds

Sky Q main box keeps dropping off to a black screen, the picture cones bsck after a second ir two, the sound then follows a second or so later. Why is this?

I have ordered a new HDMI cable and will try that as a first level solution. If that fails I will be in touch.
