What are sky up to ?

So why on earth has Sky decided that when you record a series, they decide to show you half way through it when you press play (for example EastEnders).

And why is the blue line complete along the bottom of something that I have recorded but not watched ?

Sky are ABSOLUTELY on their last legs with me !!

I'm out of contract (and have been for 6 month's) and pay over £100 a month, so the world is my oyster....and it doesn't include Sky.

Sky Q 2TB and three Sky Q Mini boxes installed on 27th March 2019.
Main TV is a LG OLED evo C2 65" 4k". Sky Wifi Booster. Sky Protect. BT Smart Hub 4 Router. Sky customer since 2000.

@152bobby

If you've been channel-hopping when you've been recording a programme and gone to that channel, even for a few seconds, the Sky Q box will think you've watched the recording to that point.
