We have sky signature and sky kids, our sky q box sometimes won't let us watch things we've recorded, we've tried to watch things recorded on sky witness or on sky kids

Is it recirdings you have made from the channels or download content from Catch up / On demand ?

If the latter & if  you don't have the HD add on may I suggest you try changing your download preference to SD

Main Menu -> Settings -> Setup -> Preferences

(Please note this setting can only be set on the Main box)
