Not sure what you mean. If you cancel Sky Q it needs returning as it's a loan.

If you've cancelled due to financial issues then perhaps you could join Sky Essentials which allows you access to free-to-air TV channels and lets you keep your Sky Q box to receive and record them. 
It costs between £5-£15pm depending on who you speak to.
