Waiting for TV Schedule.............
Yet another problem, every couple of weeks I get Waiting for TV schedule on my Sky Q main and mini box, only way to fix it is to power off the boxes and then power on again.Whatever channel is selected will work and shows TV correctly as does recordings, looks like a firmware issue to me.

The same firmware is on millions of Q boxes and this forum hasn't exploded, so that's unlikely.
Log the issue with Sky: they'll probably swap out the main box as a first 'fix'.

I've been having issues with my EPG for absolutely months. Seemed to get worse when other customers were having issues with blank tiles and episodes not stacking correctly last Autumn. There are customers here having issues also and there are a couple of threads on here talking about it. It would seem that rebooting the box only temporarily resolves it but no one knows why this is happening and nobody in the tech department at Sky seem interested in looking into why this is happening because it's not happening to absolutely everyone.

Been happening for months and I am becoming frustrated by lack of help from sky - I reboot constantly but I have several sky box s around the house and it's a real pain

Well, I eventually raised a fault with Sky and an engineer promptly came and replaced the Sky Q main box and handset, he also re-aligned the dish\transponder and re-enabled wifi for the mini box, slightly dubious move as everything was already on an ethernet connection, however I have been trouble free since 19th June. The box came with downlevel firmware, but after 2 days it had updated itself. I also noted that the new box came with a different ( newer?) hardware revision. So far all is ok, no issues at all.
