I go an upgraded main box today but I can't get my existing mini boxes to connect - just get error saying unable to connect.
tried WPS buttons etc - no luck

I spoke to a SKY technician and it turns out that the existing SKY Q boxes need to be paired with the new main box - but the set up instructions in the new main box are for new complete installations - not just replacing the new box so they don't cover this. Also we don't have the main TV connected to the main box - all our TVs are wi-fi so we had no way of telling what the status of the main box or the error messages coming from the box - when we connected a spare TV via HDMI cable to the main box we were able to view the problems - again the instructions also assume you have a TV connected via HDMI - the instructions don't say this is a MUST and dont' cover the wi-fi only set up.
