This is weird. Only one single channel on the entire EPG has updated. Only one- the Crime and Investigation channel- just that one, all the rest are "waiting for tv schedule" 🤨

Another EPG related issue.
The EPG *is* updating however I've started to notice several channels now have gaps where there should be a tv programme listed which has meant one of my series links (9pm on Sky Arts later today, Painting With Birds) hasn't picked up and can't be reset and I've rebooted the box twice and it's not resolving. The box also tried to set a new series link for the show at a time and date when the show isn't even scheduled to air (though I've discovered a Saturday afternoon repeat and set it for that).
Have latest software, all boxes (main and two minis) set to eco and I am beyond fed up now.

....waiting for tv schedule..... how annoying. I have this 2 or three times EVERY week. I even got a Sky engineer, he put 2 new boxes in ( sky Q main box, and a multi room mini box ), tried eco mode, no no no, nothing works long term.
As I have severe mobility issues, I find having to unplug the stupid thing, very difficult.
Surely Sky should find a cure for this, we pay enough for the service, and when I googled the problem, I found numerous people with the very same issue.
Technology, great when it works, a total nightmare when it doesn't .

Still ongoing here with my sky boxes. Sw is up to date. Only lasts about four days before I have to do a power cycle. So annoying that I'm considering ditching Sky. and buying a human box.

Posted by a Sky employeeHi all,
Can anyone confirm if this issue is still persistent on their boxes or if the EPG is loading normally?
Thanks

Currently 8 days without the need for a reboot - fingers crossed!!

It has been a persistent issue for me since last October where I'm rebooting at least once a week.
I haven't had to reboot the box yet this week since last Saturday but I'm fully expecting the issue to reoccur, this past month it's been happening every four or so days.
Incidentally there are a couple of other threads started more recently here than this one with users reporting the same issue.

Hope this has posted correctly but this is the most recent thread about the EPG issue.

Not had to do it this week so far.

If this has truly been resolved @Kirsty+S27 then a courtesy explanation wouldn't go amiss here.
A lot of speculation here around failing boxes etc, but if it turns out "Dave from SKY" made a mistake in the EPG download server or something, we can forgive mistakes.

Seven days after my last box reboot and my EPG for next Saturday has only partially updated. Only a dozen channels have updated so far and the rest may follow suit but going by past experiences, probably not. So looking like I'll be rebooting my box again later on ( recording Glastonbury coverage right now til well after midnight) so whatever this is, it's not resolved at all, at least not for me. Would love to get past a week without the need to reboot the box 🙄

well, i have just had to reboot everything again. Is this ever going to stop..... I am disabled, and some days I cant get out of bed. why on earth are we all paying for a service that clearly doesn't work properly . Sky really need to sort this out. My daughter is seriously thinking about leaving sky...... i just might follow

Up to ten days now without the need for a reboot. Sky Q main and mini box. Keeping fingers crossed.

Oh how I wish! I managed seven whole days without a reboot. I have never managed more more than that since last October/November. My EPG for next Sunday evening is 'waiting for tv schedule' across all but two channels yet again so none of my series links for next Sunday have picked up. Seriously, can someone investigate why this keeps happening?

I spoke too soon. Gone missing again.
