Volume control with Bluetooth

Can I control sky Q box with Bluetooth rather than infrared as I don't have line of sight to box

If you have a Bluetooth remote, yes, assuming it's within range.  Not all Q remotes are Bluetooth, but all the models with Voice Control are.

Further to @TimmyBGood 's reply, you need to be aware that only one remote can be paired in bluetooth mode & you do need to have line of sight when pairing etc.

 

I have my box out of line of sight on a shelf behind my TV & just for test purposes have found that the bluetooth has a very good range  (I have used it in my back garden when my box is in my  front lounge near the window)

The question title is about how to adjust volume with the bluetooth remote.  As far as I recall, the on/off and volume controls are IR and not bluetooth.

Ah yes I forgot the title after reading the actual post & @TimmyBGood 's reply

 

@Ross1948 just for clarity the Volume control is direct from the controller to the TV & does not route via the SKY Q box and. as @PeteRG41  mentions, only uses IR for this but I doubt that TV IR receiver is out of line of sight of the controller
