Re: Viewing card problems
We are customers here who help each other so you are not talking to Sky support.
Your current viewing card will have been deactivated due to Sky sending you a new one.
If someone has helped you then please click on the LIKES button in their post.
If you need help please provide as much information as you can

Afraid you are not contacting Sky's customer services on here, this is a customer to customer forum where customers help each other.
at present you will need to contact Sky as the escalation process we can use is not back up and running again after the holidays
You can contact Sky by phone by dialling 150 if Sky is your phone provider or by following the link below
https://www.sky.com/help/home
scroll down to need more help click on this and you will find a phone number. If you are in ROI please change the flag at the bottom right to the ROI flag

Re: Viewing card problems
I've gota viewing card problem, we were all watching tv and was working fine New Year's Eve and then today put tv on and it says 'please ensure the correct viewing card is inserted with the chip facing up' and I can't get any of the subscribed channels just BBC etc. I have turned off from mains and taken viewing card out etc nothing working. I find it ridiculous sky don't have a 24/7 service, now I'm just suppose to wait until they open? What a joke

Yes, that's tomorrow and they may well have to post you a new card.

@Dan48 try wipeing the chip on the cars with a soft dry cloth then re-inserting it again
