Viewing Card
I had a new tv installed last weekend. Twice now I have been watching youtube when the picture has disappeared and a message saying there is no signal. The installers of my new tv returned and said it was just a hiccough with Sky and they put it right. They told us if it happened again we should pull one of the connections out of the Skybox, wait a couple of minutes and then replace it.
tonightvwhen it happened I tried this, and can get Sky partially but am getting a message to insert the viewing card. I don't have a viewing card.
could somebidy please advise me in simple language where I go from here. Many thanks in anticipation.

Re: Viewing Card
Is this YouTube via an app on your tv? There's no YouTube app on Sky+ boxes - the forum you've posted in.
All Sky+ boxes have a Viewing Card.

If you have Sky satellite TV (either Sky+ or Sky Q) and you have an active Sky subscription, then you have a viewing card. It wouldn't work without one.
Of the two, only Sky Q has Apps such as YouTube but you've posted in the Sky+ forum.
Which do you have?

Re: Viewing Card
It seems as though i'm in the wrong forum as I have Sky Q. Also I have found the viewing card, in the side of the box. I'm not very knowledgeable as can be seen. I think I might be ok now i've found the card. Thank you for your help.
