Utility warehouse eero problem
I've recently switched broadband from sky to utility warehouse. Something I'm regretting as my sky q seems to randomly lose connection with the wifi hub.
It will lose connection. It can see the hub but fails to connect. If I do a hard reset on the sky q or go through the reset network procedure it will work again.
this is frustrating. I have the utility warehouse hub set up with 2 x eero devices. I don't believe it's a signal strength problem.
has anyone had this problem. Is there a fix.

Re: Utility warehouse eero problem
@Andy1831There can be problems with eero mesh indeed with any sort of mesh. are you using WiFi to connect to the main hub.
Here is information on how to set up Q devices, particularly the bit about when you have changed a router.

Re: Utility warehouse eero problem
Hi buddy. Yes that information you've sent about connecting is what I did. Like I say. Usually a hard reboot fixes the problem as well.
the sky q appears to connect to the gateway eero. The one hard wired to the hub.

Re: Utility warehouse eero problem
@Andy1831They both need to connect to the same place. I know nothing about eero mesh, but meshes usually only work if both ends are hard wired.

Re: Utility warehouse eero problem
I have being having the same problem for 5 plus months, Q-box one end of room and the router the other. Have also changed from landline to fibre. Spoken to UW and report no connectivity problems. Sky have replaced Q box with a revamp too. Have rebooted, upgraded and made changes as recommended by SKY techs but still daily dropping internet connection even when the box is on. Any ideas?

Re: Utility warehouse eero problem
If you're using multiple nodes, such as a mesh system then the only fix is to have one Sky Q node hardwired to the main gateway or the hub.
The system will not work reliably over wifi due to switching between the different mesh nodes. Essentially Q is a mesh system of its own, you cannot connect one mesh system to another mesh system basically
