Using an app old sky q box with sky stream

Can I take out sky stream and use it with my old Sky Q box we've retained? We've also got sky mini boxes around the house too? Had to cancel package we had for over 7 years as it was in ex partners name?

No: you can't have both Q and Stream at the same address, and the Q television hardware all goes back to Sky anyway once the subscription covering it ends.

You can't 'retain' Q boxes.  The subscriber has to return them when cancelling and will be charged (and pursued) for their non-return.

Yeah there is no "retained" when you cancel Q. Surprised they haven't been hounding you. Probably been hounding your ex-partner?
