Upgrade to Sky Q

I received an email saying I am entitled to a free upgrade to Sky Q.
I have quite a few programs on my sky+ box that I haven't yet watched or want to keep.

if I upgrade, will I loose these programs (I know one of them is unavailable on catch up) or will they automatically be available on the Sky Q box?

Thanks in advanced

Technically Recordings will remain on the hard drive in a Sky+ / Sky+ HD box (which is yours to keep as you own it) but access to them for playback is a subscription function which ceases upon moving to Sky Q.

Sky Glass 55" (on ethernet) & two Stream Pucks (one ethernet / one WiFi)
BT Halo 3+ Ultrafast FTTP (500Mbs), BT Smart Hub 2

@1200max

They aren't transferable between a Sky+ and Sky Q box although you'll still have access to your purchased Sky Store films.

Re: Upgrade to Sky Q

Thanks for the replies.  I think I will

stick with the sky+ box for the time being and watch all the programmes I have got on there.
