SKy release software updates around once a quarter for SKy Q (Q23 is rolling out currently and may take a few weeks to reach all boxes)
The updates nowadays are, however, generally fairly transparent with only minor differences noticable. SKY Q is now unlikely to get any major changes as SKY Glass./ Stream takes over
