Undelete / Permanentaly Delete

I read on another forum that once a recording has been deleted and placed here

Home/Recordings/Manage/Deleted

The Sky Q box will automatically start deleting recordings in the deleted section once the disk starts getting too full.

Is that correct? 

For now I have been permanently deleting recordings after initially deleting them from the recordings menu.

Q manages the space automatically and will record over deleted items and even delete older items on the planner if not protected.

Some people like to, but it's not necessary. The box will manage space perfectly well automatically.
