Unable to record a future programme

I want to record a programme that ius on next week. When I press record on my remote, I get the message "This programme cannot be recorded" at the top of the screen. I CAN record the programmes either side of this one, just cannot record the programme I want!
I have plenty of disk space remaining, so it's not a space issue... any ideas folks?

@SJRalling just tried it on my Q box and it allows me to record it 

 

Have you tried rebooting your main Q box ie
putting your box into Standby then switching it off at the wall for 30 seconds
switch it back on then follow the on screen instructions

What programme is it?

 

The owner can use metadata to prevent recording.

I am just another Sky customer and my views are my own even if you don't like the answers

You could make a note of when it's on and see if you're able to set it for recording nearer the time.

Thank you @Laing1 🙂 - rebooting the Sky Q box fixed the problem for me.

Strange how this could happen though when other programmes seem unaffected!

An obscure bug/data corruption issue.  You may never see it again 😊
