Spent 45 minutes with a person from discover plus still can't activate.  Now it's day 9. 
nothing back so far.  Sky are sending me messages activate are loss it.

Day 9 isn't that long . 2 months for me now . Don't hold your breath.

Hi Scot I have been trying to activate discovery plus for 2 months now same occuring issues and I have spoke to 3 different discovery plus agent's who said the same about a technical team

I have the same issue. When I called Sky, they said that as I had cancelled TNT sports in the past, I do not get access to Discovery+ after I restarted my subscription. It felt like a weak answer TBH.

Still nothing is sky having technical difficulties in fixing a small problem. Maybe sky and Discovery plus can't fix problems in Ireland.

For anyone that's still having this issue In ROI.. A previous posters suggestion of using a VPN to change your location to the UK, going into the my sky app and activating it from there, worked for me. 

 

This was after getting in touch with both sky and discovery who were unable to resolve. 

 

Crazy that this issue hasn't been resolved by now.
