ULTRA HD

When I switch my sky Q to ultra hd a few days later it resets itself back to 1080p very annoying

Hi @hendersonhouse   It appears to be a common problem. Do you have a standard setup, like a short high speed HDMI lead?

It's a common problem am getting it alot. I have a very expensive set up LG c3 with a denon surround sound used both 2.3 and 2.2 hdmi set ups but same problem. With me it only happens when I switch on sky say the next day that's only time it seems to happen. It has to be the sky q box if we we are getting the same issue due to having different set ups tvs models etc.

To change your standby settings:

Press Home on your Sky Q remote and select Settings > Setup > Preferences > Standby mode, and select the setting you want. I personally have all my boxes set to NONE.  This may well retain the relevant settings for you.

Might be the lead, We just had Sky Q installed  , our TV is ultra hd but the installer could not get the box to connect to ultra hd setting said the box was too powerful, the message it came up with on the screen said the ultra hd lead supplied was fine, I purchased an good quality

8 ultra hd lead just 1 metre long and now it connected to ultra hd
