Hello. Chased sky twice and despite them saying they would flick the switch I can't access UHD on the mini box as I can on my main box. Any ideas?

Not sure who you have been discussing this with but SKY Minis have never been able to support UHD
Edit :Also, unfortunately SKY Q cannot downscale UHD recordings to play on a Mini even in HD

There's no switch to flick.
The mini's do not support UHD. (It's a hardware limitation)

Not with Sky Q.
Only via Glass/Stream but it's quite a different product (no recording).

Find out moreWorth remembering that Q is approaching its eighth birthday (released early 2016) and was designed at a time when having even one UHD television set was much less common. As indicated, Sky Stream is the product intended for UHD output in multiple rooms, bandwidth permitting.
