Had a problem recently with my 12/13 year old sky q box after many dicussions etc they suggested sending me a new box. Delivery company arrived two days early and would not leave new box as old one was not ready. Said they would return next day. That did not happen so as new box had been returned to sky, After many more phone calls etc Sky said that they should not have sent me a box and it could only be checked and rectified by an engineer, two weeks later an engineer came, very nice person who seemed to know what he was doing etc. Identified that the box needed replacing, fitted new box, when i wanted to watch a grand prix in UHD found that the picture was absoloutly awful and certainly not UHD.
ANYBODY ELSE EXPERIENCED THIS. Spoke to sky who were useless have they fitted the wrong box or something else that is secret.
All advice wamly wecome.

hi @Peterhard59
Which box do you now have :?
Home - Settings - System Info - Hardware Version
If it is 32Cxxx then you have an older 1TB non-UHD Box
If it is 32B0xxx then you have a (V1) UHD but non HDR 2TB Box
If it is 32B1xxx then you have a (V2) UHD HDR 2TB Box (which has a separate Power supply)
If it is 32B2xxx then you have a (V3) UHD HDR 1TB or 2TB Box
