I had this issue about 4 years ago, I gave in and just got Sky to send me a box which wasn't UHD (the one with no power pack) I now have my box the following:
Hardware Version: 32B107
Software Version: Q220.000.23.00L
TV: LG OLED 55b8PLA with the latest software (05.50.10)
I received a box Last Monday, the sky engineer set it up and left, worked fine, the next day, I went to turn it on and it said no signal, but the sky box led went green. I pressed HOME 1 0 8 0 HOME and it came to life. I tried to change the settings to UHD again buy letting the box find it, but it didn't work and I got the error UH021.
I went into the TV settings and turned off HDMI ULTRA HD DEEP COLOUR, a setting for 4k ports. I then went back to the sky box and clicked find for me and it only found UHD 8bit. I went back to TV settings and put HDMI ULTRS HD DEEP COLOUR back on, went back onto the sky box and clicked find it for me and it found the UHD 10bit setting. It's now working, BUT I know it will probably not work when turned on in the morning!
Is my box the newest box out or is there a newer one? As the Sky engineer didn't know if the one he gave me was UHD until he checked and confirmed it was, but he said an engineer nearby had a new one which is definitely HD.
I read it might be a problem at the TV end with the handshake (whatever that is).
This just seems to be a problem which is never going to get fixed. I may have to just get rid of UHD and go back to an old box.
I've tried the help "Setting up Ultrad HD" on the sky website.

Well I was asked to change the standby mode from eco to none. I change that last Friday and it's worked perfectly for the week. I changed it back to ECO last night and this morning I got the no signal image on my TV. So I think the problem must pay with the box and not my TV.
I'm just going to leave it on none.

An update
It's started not to start up again.
The sky box standby mode is in NONE
I have tried all my hdmi ports on the TV and it happens in all of them (no signal image on TV).
I've tried it in my Sony sound bar and it does the same thing. It was working yesterday, but this morning I turned it all on by pressing the sky remote home button. The sky TV image came.on for about 1 second then it went to the no image screen from the sound bar.
So it does the same thing on the soundbar that it does on the TV.
Is there a newer box I could try that is UHD HDR?

My box just turned off, then back on whilst watching a recorded recording. Strange.
Is it possible to get the chat feature back up so I can talk to sky again.

My box still does this, was working this morning. Put it into standby, came back this afternoon and I got the no signal image. I have to press "Home 1 0 8 0 Home" on my remote to get it working again.
