Tv guide

The 'waiting for tv schedule' keeps coming up, it's like it has no internet but it does.  The home page works but I can only get one channel as the guide is missing

The EPG guide data is only downloaded from the satellite, and always has been. So you need a working satellite signal.

Non-essential flourishes (like the images used as thumbnails in your Planner) come from the internet, but not the core guide data.

The quickest thing to try is a reboot. There' no need to pull the power, just go to Home/Settings/Setup/Preferences and change "Maximum number of recordings" from 5 to 6 (or 6 to 5 if it's already on 6). That will then ask  you to confirm and reboot without needing to pull plugs out.
