Trying to find when a film is broadcast in the next 7 days

I am new to Sky Q and looking to record Blue Beetle at some point during the next 7 days. Searching for it I can download it now ( for this exercise I don't want to do this). But short of scrolling through the tv listings to find them one by one, the Q box doesn't give us all times it's on. Progress eh as the plus box sd and hd did this. Or is this all part of Sky's drive to switch us all onto download only services!!!

@RussellPeters

Next viewing is 8pm tonight on 301. Find it in the epg / press select / scroll down / scroll right to 'on this week' / scroll down to 'other showings' / press select for all the weeks showings.

You may be able to do it quicker by using voice control and saying the title.

Downloads are probably more convenient for most people rather than being tied to the Schedules - also Downlaods allow different Quality & if you have the UHD sub the only way for Films & entertainment

(Of course,  downloads may be inconvenient for people with poor internet)

Anyway to answer your question - use the Voice search or search button to enter via the Remote keypad buttons

This shoud come up with a thumbnail - Select this

Then tab down  - you should see a 'On this week'; option - Select this

Tab down to the thumbnail - it shows as 8pm today

You can also tab down to 'Other Shwoings' which for this film has many entries

Of course options may be more limited if there is only 1 showing in the neext week etc

Thanks, I just seams there are now 2 or 3 times as many button pushes to get what you need. That does appear to be the thing with Q over plus everything needs multiple presses and navigation to do what you want. Pushing the first icon that come up just downloads from the internet. And now having Q going back to a much simpler plus layout is not possible. Changing things because you can is not always progress

hi @RussellPeters

You do have to look for icons within thumbnails - an arrow pointing down does mean, pressing will result in a download. Arrow pointing right - play

Yes Q does in general does use a more key presses - Although you will get used to them, best not to think about the simpler 'it works' UI of SKY HD otherwise you may get frustrated

Q has a different ethos in it's UI design - much closer to today's phone/tablet view/swipe etc
