Try and reduce payments

Our payments have risen to 106.00 per month and as we're pensioners, that is quite alot of our pension.  We really only watch discovery and old programmes as Last of the Summer Wine and one or two dramas.  Is there anyway we can take the payments down, please?

If you’re not already aware this is a customer helps customer forum and you aren’t contacting Sky Customer Services.

Unless you’ve changed your subscription, prices go up for either the annual price increase (April in the UK) or when your discounts are ending. Sky will have told you the date any discount was ending when you took it out so if it has ended you’ll be paying the full undiscounted price. Perhaps compare a previous bill to your latest bill and see where the amounts differ
www.sky.com/bill.

If you’re no longer in a discounted minimum term, or its ending soon the best new discounts are normally acquired by calling Sky and negotiating or potentially amending your package which will now require a 24 month minimum term contract. Sky are not obliged to offer you another discount, and recent posts on here indicate that significant discounts are now harder to come by. If you’re offered something acceptable be prepared to agree to it there and then because if you decide to think about it the offer may no longer be available when you call back.
