Hi,
So I eventually signed up to Sky multiroom and my Sky mini arrived but things are just not working.
My main Sky Q box had been fine, connecting to services etc etc.
I added the mini, followed the instructions, did the WPS on the main box but it failed telling me my router is not issueing an IP address but it seems to be fine with all other devices (I use Vodafone broadband).
After this point it now looks like the Sky mini connects to the WiFi but my main Sky Q box is being disconnected, my guess is that they are clashing on the IP.
I must admit, my Sky devices are not that close so fear that this may be the issue but I do not want a Sky booster, multiroom just is not that important to me to find somewhere midway ish to plug that in.
What I am not clear on though is the actual connectivity, should nboth boxes connect to WiFi and each other or should the mini create a mesh with the main box?
Ant help greatly appreciated.

Hi, thanks for the help.
I did eventually give up and an engineer came round and it seems it was all due to distance from my router so they installed a booster and things seem better.
I find it odd though that the box that was further from my router was the one that was getting the connection but hey ho, it is how networks are at times.
Thanks all,
